I am putting together and acting real, but one of my network television roles was a dynamic oner of a robbery in which I am wearing a balaclava, and while it is, of course, all of my own physicality, there are a couple two word lines that were ADRed over by another actor. I’ve considered using it as is… Cutting out the…

I auditioned last year for Juilliard with lots of preparation. Made it through round 1, but was sent home after that. My friends went through a similar thing I did. Asking Anyone who would know or has made it into Juilliard, what do they genuinely look for in an actor? I’d wish they give a bit of feedback.

Do you think it could do more harm then good working multiple independent and tubi level shows/features? Could it result in this being a limiting thing? I personally have been working on a miniseries that’s going straight to streaming on Tubi and all the other platforms and from that I’ve made connections where somebod…

I am currently a freshman at SUNY Purchase, and I am a Theatre and Performance BA (THP) major. I auditioned for the Acting BFA program back in December of 2025, but unfortunately, I didn't even get a callback. I have now been here for just under two months, and while I absolutely love the school itself, I am realizing…

Can you start acting at 40? I didn't start until I was 29, and over 40-plus years I've booked nearly 1,300 acting and modeling jobs. John Mahoney didn't take his first acting class until 37 and landed Frasier at 53.In this video, I share what kind of work is out there for people in their 40s, 50s and beyond, the formul…

I recently decided to try to go all in on starting acting, I got my headshots, got actors access premium. Only thing I'm missing is a demo reel. I haven't gotten any self tape auditions despite submitting myself to a lot. I'm assuming it's due to the lack of a demo reel. Since I don't have any credits or anything what…
